Peer mentoring

You may want to speak to one of our fantastic volunteers who are living with HIV. Talking to someone else living with HIV can be helpful, especially when you are first diagnosed or going through a life change.

Newly Diagnosed

An HIV diagnosis can be frightening and bewildering but learning about HIV and meeting others living with it, can be a great first step to a happy and healthy life. You can speak to someone else who is living with HIV, attend our newly diagnosed course or speak with one of our team.

1-2-1 Support

You may not be ready to meet others living with HIV or to attend a group or you may need support to overcome a particular challenge. Short term 1-2-1 support is available from the Blue Sky Trust team

Mums & Babies

If you have pre-school children or are pregnant, you can connect with other mums living with HIV at our mums and babies group.

Connect Mixed

Relax, connect, have fun and learn with other men and women living with HIV at our weekly gatherings. Click below to hear what it’s all about!

Mental Wellbeing

We have a range of courses and sessions that support your mental wellbeing including mindfulness and courses for people with a past experience of trauma

Young People

If you are under 19 and you or a family member is living with HIV, you are not alone! This group is packed with fun activities and is a safe place to learn about HIV and make new friends!

Walking Group

There's nothing like a bit of fresh air and good company! Our walking group meets in and around Newcastle for short, accessible walks.
